Medicare Prohibiting regarding use of name "Medicare" or Logo in Ads!

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) emblem and the word "Medicare" have been utilized in the names of storefronts, postcards, websites, and printed materials in an inaccurate manner, according to CMS monitoring efforts and beneficiary complaints. Additionally, CMS highlighted that a lot of third-party websites include "Medicare" in their URLs. Medicare, CMS, and Department of Health and Human Services beneficiaries are being made to believe they are speaking with the federal government or its representatives when they are not.

In order to further prohibit the use of the Medicare name, CMS emblem, and goods and information produced by the federal government in a deceptive manner, CMS will be adding additional wording to the Code of Federal Regulations.
