Medicare marketing compliance requires benefit marketing to include the Ad Sponsors name.

Health Insurance Agents who sell Medicare-related products must include the names of the Medicare Advantage Organization (MAO) or Part D sponsors in 12-point font if Medicare Advantage Marketing Plan-Specific Benefits are in print ads.

In a radio or television disclaimer, the names of the carriers must be read at the same speed as the phone number in voice-only radio or other promotions.

This regulation pertains to the content of marketing and communication materials, and it calls for HPMS filing and carrier opt-in, where appropriate.
